About Us

Who We Are

The Hot Sauce Selling Software was developed by the Ignite Consulting Group (ICG), a company founded by fabricator owners to provide software selling solutions to the countertop industry. ICG is owned by Geoffrey Gran and Bill Heuer, who are also co-owners of The Countertop Factory Midwest, located in the Chicago suburb of Addison, Illinois and Fifth Gear Technologies (SPEEDlabel, SPEEDcad, SPEEDdraw).

What We Do

ICG was formed to aide countertop business owners make more money. The company developed The Hot Sauce Selling Software because they, as fellow fabricators, saw problems that needed to be fixed, such as:

To compile and centrally locate all of the highly profitable upgrades that a fabricator has worked so hard to develop for the customer.
To get every customer-facing employee in the organization involved in the selling process.
To incentivize those employees, resulting in self-funded raises!
To provide ultimate customer satisfaction by showing them all of the fun and creative upgrades they can choose to “hot sauce” their countertops.

Why We Do It

We, as fellow fabricators, realized a few obstacles in our business:

Ease and Convenience

Ease and convenience are the norms in the way we all live our lives today, but buying a countertop can be a very complicated process for our customer (size, shape, material, color, thickness, templating, plumbing/electrical, cabinet leveling, installation, material finish, scheduling… etc.). We needed to redesign the way we sold to the customer by making the process easy, convenient, and fun!

Profitability

Every fabricator is facing three universal problems:

Our employees always want to make more money (and we agree)
Our costs are always increasing (fact, not opinion)
Our customers are always looking for a great “value” (this will never change)

Our Solution

We developed a simple, yet very powerful software to allow all of our Customer-facing employees (field measurers, sales, customer service, etc) to have an opportunity to sell upgrades to a Customer. Our software focuses on ease of use, technology and convenience to solve those problems and developed the Hot Sauce Countertop Upgrades Selling Software!
